1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or place an order. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to make a purchase.
2. Our Products & Accuracy of Descriptions
Sakina offers premium foldable prayer mats in velvet and easy-care microfiber, including a dedicated kids' mat. Our designs draw on rich heritage traditions, including Andalusian, Ottoman, Persian, Moroccan, Mughal, Mamluk, Umayyad, Contemporary, and Calligraphy styles.
We take great care to describe and photograph our products accurately. However, please note the following:
- Colours and patterns may appear slightly different in person due to your screen settings, lighting, and photography.
- As our designs are printed and finished with care, minor variations in colour, alignment, or texture between individual mats are natural and do not constitute a defect.
- Approximate dimensions are provided for guidance (standard mats around 70 × 110 cm; kids' mats around 50 × 90 cm) and small variations may occur.
Features such as the built-in qibla compass are provided as a helpful guide. While we aim for reliability, the compass is intended for general orientation and should be used alongside your own judgement.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Saudi Riyal (SAR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is charged separately: a flat 19 SAR across the Gulf (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait) and 99 SAR for international orders.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is placed and confirmed. In the rare event of an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order, in which case you will not be charged.
4. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. An order is not accepted until we confirm it and begin processing, which normally occurs within 1–2 business days. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where an item is unavailable, where there is a suspected error, or where we are unable to verify the delivery details provided.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery and contact information. We are not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete details.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD)
We currently offer Cash on Delivery only. No online prepayment is required; you pay the full order amount in cash to the courier at the time of delivery.
- By placing a COD order, you commit to paying the full amount, including shipping, upon delivery.
- Please ensure you, or someone authorised on your behalf, is available to receive the order and make payment.
- If delivery is refused without a valid reason, or if repeated delivery attempts fail because no one is available to pay, the order may be cancelled and returned to us.
- Repeated refusal of confirmed COD orders may result in us declining to accept future orders from the same customer.
6. Personalised & Monogram Orders
We are proud to offer a complimentary monogram (personalised initials) at no extra cost. Personalised and monogrammed items are made to order specifically for you.
Because these items are produced to your specifications, they can only be returned or exchanged if they are defective or arrive damaged. Please review your chosen initials and spelling carefully before confirming your order, as personalisation cannot be changed once production has begun.
7. Returns & Exchanges
Non-personalised items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, clean, and in their original condition and packaging. Personalised or monogrammed items are excluded except where defective, as described above. Full details are available in our Return & Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Sakina name, logo, designs, patterns, artwork, product imagery, text, and all other content on our website are the property of Sakina or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our designs or brand materials without our prior written permission. Purchasing a product grants you ownership of that physical item only and does not transfer any rights in our designs or brand.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our products are intended for personal use as prayer mats. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sakina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and, where relevant, the applicable laws of the Gulf country in which you receive your order. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update or amend these Terms from time to time. Any changes take effect once published on this page. The Terms that apply to your order are those in effect at the time you place it. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
